Subject	TT engine bay (fuse box) harness differences? pin question

Message	I swapped out my front engine bay harness with another TT harness, however one of the connectors is different. Where it connects to the chassis harness in the passenger footwell the original connector has 4 connections and the new one has 2. My car is a 91 and I'm not sure what the new harness is out of. Can I get away with soldering in the old connector into the new harness without connecting the 2 smaller wires (which do not exist on the new harness)? One on the right is the original and the left is the new one. Connection is to the top connector on the right.
